In collaboration with Rainforest Theatre, teens will develop and perform an immersive, outdoor, roving play for all ages guided by Artistic Director James MacDonald and other working professionals.
Dates: August 8-Sept. 3, 2020 Cost: $80 a week (Scholarships and subsidies available. Teens receive 100% of their ticket sales.) Ensemble will be limited to ten participants.

Since 2004, Rainforest Theatre has produced over thirty musicals and festivals across the lower mainland. Previous festivals include the Tri-Cities Children's Festival, Theatre on the Lake, and Theatrefest. Rainforest Theatre has produced many musicals at Burnaby Village Museum including Robin Hood, The Sword in the Stone, and The Little Mermaid. Many of the companies performers continue their professional careers in film, tv, and on stages across Canada and the world.
James MacDonald has been the Artistic Director of Rainforest Theatre since 2004. In that time, he has written, directed, and produced most of its shows. He has also instructed and directed theatre at Place des Arts including Hansel and Gretel and Radio Coquitlam which both toured Coquitlam and Ronald McDonald House. James is also an actor and trained at Langara and Capilano.
